Little Angels confirmed for Sweden Rock Festival

Little Angels are pleased to announced that they will be performing at Sweden Rock Festival on Thursday 7th June 2011.

The full Sweden Rock press release follows...

In the early 90s, Little Angels were definitely Great Britain's most popular hair metal-bands in their native country. Their music was well-played as well as cocky, and each of their three studio albums  - "Don't Prey For Me" (1989), "Young Gods" (1991) and "Jam" (1993) - are classics of the genre. Nevertheless the band decided to split up in 1994. In recent times, singer Toby Jepson in particular has gained attention as a member of Gun and Fastway, and by producing Saxon. In 2008, the members of Little Angels met for the first time in years at their ex-drummer's funeral. Even under such tragic circumstances they rekindled their former friendship, and now the band is finally back in business. SRF 2012 will be the very first festival performance by this cult-act on Swedish soil - truly something to look forward to for every hair metal fan.

Total Rock Radio speak to Toby Jepson.

Hot off the announcement that Little Angels will be reforming to play Download Festival, Tina and Sara from Total Rock Radio caught up with frontman Toby Jepson on the Noiseletter last night. And for any fans that missed it, fear not, it's up now as a podcast for you to listen to at your leisure:

Deaf By Dawn interview Toby...

"The recent Download announcement got us really excited, there are some amazing bands lined up for what is going to be a massive 10th birthday party – but one of the names really stood out to us and that was Little Angels, one of Britain’s best ever rock bands reforming after an 18 year hiatus. So we took the opportunity to speak to front man Toby Jepson about their plans, fans and the legend that is Mr Andy Copping…"
